but with built-in safety override features. The logic will not allow
a downshift that would cause the engine to over-rev. It stays in the
selected gear until the vehicle approaches a complete stop, then
shifts into 1st automatically. While it won’t upshift beyond 2nd on
its own if you accelerate in SportShift™ mode, it will cut fuel flow
to prevent over-revving
